Organization Management (IAM)
In this menu item, you can add or remove new user accounts for users and select a permission profile for the Cloud Services Portal for a user. You can also reset a user's password here. User accounts allow other users to log in to the Cloud Services Portal as well.
Note
The detailed permissions and custom profiles for the individual panels (e.g., OpenStack, S3, USAGE) of the Cloud Services Portal can be configured under Dashboard => Permission Management.
Create User
To create a new user for the Cloud Services Portal and the offered Cloud Services, such as OpenStack, please follow the steps below:
- To do this, navigate to Organization Management on the left and then click on Users.
- Now click on the Create User button.
- (1) Now fill out the form
- (2) select a permission profile
- (3) and finally confirm with the Add button.

Note
Two standard profiles are available
- (A) User-Adm - Can manage all users of this client and has access to all panels
- (B) User - Has access to the S3 Panel and cannot manage users.

Edit User
To edit a user's data, e.g., to change a user's Cloud Services Portal permission, please follow the steps below:
- To do this, navigate to Organization Management on the left and then click on Users.
- Now click on Edit User in the list next to the desired user.
- Now make the desired adjustments and confirm with the save button.
Delete User
To delete a user, please follow the steps below:
- To do this, navigate to Organization Management on the left and then click on Users.
- Now click on the small arrow in the list next to the desired user and then on Delete.
- Confirm the security question by clicking the Delete button.
Warning
Deleting a user account also deletes their personal (user-bound) EC2 credentials. Please check before deleting if they are still in use and replace them if necessary with project-bound EC2 Credentials.
Reset Password
To reset another user's password, please proceed as follows:
- To do this, navigate to Organization Management on the left and then click on Users.
- Now click on the small arrow in the list next to the desired user and then on Reset Password.
- A message will appear "New password:" with the new password, which you can provide to the user.

Disable User
To disable a user's access, please proceed as follows:
- To do this, navigate to Organization Management on the left and then click on Users.
- Now click on the small arrow in the list next to the desired user and then on Disable.
- The Status column will now show Disable
